ISLE OF MINE REVERIE LAUNCH

During my time as Digital Marketing Coordinator at TKC, I helped bring multiple collection launches to life, but Isle of Mine AW26 Reverie was one I felt especially close to. Isle of Mine has this calm spirit to it. Grounded, feminine, a little dreamy, always wearable. Through lots of research and testing, I learned the woman we’re speaking to and what she wants to feel when she opens an email or scrolls past a post.

For Reverie, I was involved from the day of the shoot through to launch. I captured BTS moments, helped direct models and support styling on set, then took that raw material and shaped it into the story across every touchpoint. I briefed and built email and web creative, wrote and refined messaging, and planned, designed and scheduled the social rollout so it all felt consistent and intentional.

It sat alongside a busy BAU schedule, but it was work I loved. Moving quickly, staying detail-obsessed, and making sure the final output still felt soft, natural and true to the brand.

The Festivities

I hope everyone who celebrated Christmas had a magnificent festive season!! I hope your loved ones brought a smile to your faces and you were spoilt with many moments of happiness. I know that for me, this year was a big one, with lots of ups and downs but it was absolutely lovely ending it on such a positive note.

My favourite part of Christmas is the people I get to spend it with, but a little bonus is the gifts! I am so incredibly grateful for what I’ve received and it is around this time of the year where I take the opportunity to just sit down and appreciate how lucky I am, because it was just by chance that I was born into the country and circumstance I am in. That’s why I also tried to do as much giving back as possible this year!

So here are the gifts that I could capture!

Splendour Recap

Splendour in the Grass 2017 was simply incredible. With an amazing line-up, great food and an unimaginably vibrant vibe. I spent three days in the Byron hinterlands exploring passions and growing as a person, along with listening to my favourite musicians perform their hearts out. It’s hard to even start to capture the essence of such a wonderful festival, but hopefully these little snippets of pure happiness can transport you to the precious hours between the 21st and 23rd of July.

NUMBER ONE : THE MUSIC

Live music is phenomenal. There is nowhere else in the world that I feel as comfortable as I do whilst in the crowd of a concert. Lucky for me, I spent these three days listening to 10+ artists a day, taking in every second. I’ve tried to nail down my favourite Splendour tracks into a little playlist, where each song is now treasurable to me, as it holds a very unique memory. Enjoy!

NUMBER THREE : BYRON

Enjoying delicious breakfasts and exploring the streets was a lovely start to the mornings, before heading off into the hills. Indulging in anything from avo smashes to chocolate and coffee macarons at 10 in the morning (thanks Byron Fresh for that one!) The sun was out and so were the people of Byron, with high spirits, the little town was buzzing with excitement. I visited some gorgeous cafes, like Mokha, where I enjoyed INCREDIBLE pumpkin bread and delicious pancakes. Along with Sunday Sustainable Bakery, handing out free love and the legendary Byron Fresh with wonderful fritters, brekkie rolls and photos below!

Thank you Byron, you were amazing.
